How it works
- Type: click any dotted line, ruled line, empty table cell or answer box and type. Text sits on the lines, shrinks if you write a lot, and the page grows if it still doesn't fit.
- Write: drag with the pen tool (mouse, trackpad, Apple Pencil or a mirrored iPad). A short tap on an answer space starts typing instead. Fingers scroll; pinch to zoom.
- Live sync: sign in on two devices (say a laptop and an iPad) and open the same paper. Typing and ink appear on the other one straight away.
- Fix the boxes: the Boxes tool lets you add, move, resize, delete or change any answer space if one was missed.
- Export PDF keeps the original paper sharp and adds your writing on top. Export for AI gives typed answers as JSON plus a small PDF of only your handwritten work, which costs far fewer tokens to mark.
- Shortcuts: ⌘/Ctrl+Z undo · ⇧⌘/Ctrl+Z redo · ⌘/Ctrl + and − or pinch to zoom · hold Shift while drawing for a straight line · Tab jumps to the next answer space · Esc leaves a box.
